About Us

DLJ Sports Coaching has been operating since 2007. We are a professional sports coaching business and our specialities are gymnastics and cheerleading. We offer schools early morning and after school clubs, provide schools with sessions during the day and we also offer community clubs.

All our coaches are highly trained and experienced in teaching their individual disciplines to children of all ages and abilities. Our sessions are very popular and highly attended and we ensure that our session numbers are kept low to provide the best possible coaching for each child, as well as the safest learning environment.

We believe that each child should progress at their own pace - for some children this is very quickly and for others they progress more steadily. We like to reward the children for their hard work and acheivement - for example in our gymnastics sessions we work towards British Gymnastics Awards each term and every child has a individual sticker book which recognises a child's effort and development. If a child completes their sticker book they are rewarded with a prize!

We also choose one child from each of our sessions every term who wins a special acheivement award. At each club we work towards gymnastics displays and the children can invite their parents and family to come along and watch and support them. We try to hold these displays twice a year, and aim to replicate this with our new cheerleading and street dance sessions once these are established fully.

Finally and most importantly, DLJ Sports Coaching sessions are a great way to keep your child fit and healthy, whilst always having lots of fun! There are endless benefits to taking part in both our sessions and the sports that we offer - we see timid and withdrawn children turn into confident and chatty children within a few months, and many parents have said that their child's concentration in school has improved since taking part in our sessions. We have established links with local elite clubs such as the Meapa Gymnastics Club in Gravesend to ensure that progression is available if a child shows promise and talent during our sessions - during our Gymnastics sessions we have seen a good number of children that have been progressed so that they can continue to fulfill their love of gymnastics and compete at a higher level should they wish to - see our Club Links section
