My daughter Amy started gymnastics with Danielle Jarvis at DLJ Gymnastics Club. Amy was attending once a week for fun but with Danielle’s excellent coaching she quickly became very passionate about gymnastics. Danielle saw potential in Amy and asked if she would like to go for a trial at Meapa Gymnastics Club in Gravesend. Her potential was picked up there and now a year on she trains 5 days a week and is currently South East Regional Champion in age at Level 14 in her first competition and is currently training towards Level 4 for her grades next year.
Without Danielle’s start and her eye for potential Amy would probably never found her passion which in turn has made her fitter and her school work has improved because of her concentration. Amy works hard but loves every minute of it! I would recommend gymnastics to all children.

I have 2 children, 1 still attends gymnastics at his school and he cannot wait for Friday to arrive to attend which says enough in itself. My daughter Liberty attended the same class almost 3 years ago has gone from simple tumbling i.e head overheels to winning 1st place in the kent regional team competition in 2010. She has won countless medals in competitions and her latest was 4th place in the S.E regional competition & 2nd in her clubs competition in May 2010.
Danielle has guided her through her growth and progression - her style of coaching in my opinion is 2nd too none. She sees things in children that others could miss. Liberty feels Danielle is a friend as well as her coach, nothing is too much trouble and she feels she can talk to her and she gets respect from her coach as well.

Gymnastics and dance is great exercise and fun too! My daughter loves doing her badges and learning new dances/exercises. It's great for her discipline and concentration all mixed with fun! ELEANOR'S COMMENTS - I like doing my badges, I like going on the climbing frame and playing games - it's fun!
The value of exercise is obvious but additionally the children are getting to experience teamwork, dealing with nerves and both disappointment and success. Taking part in competitions and the exposure this brings to new experiences is invaluable! DANIEL'S COMMENTS - My coach is great as she teaches us the moves step by step and if we have trouble with a move she just encourages us until we get it right, she never forces us.
Olivia really looks forward to Gymnastics. She has been going for a couple of years now and thoroughly enjoys it. Also it keeps her fit and healthy! OLIVIA'S COMMENTS - I like my class because it's fun and flexible and makes me good at Gymnastics!
Gymnastics has given Lucy confidence as she has grown and is also a very able little girl. She is very strong which is due to her working hard at the gym. She enjoys the afternoon with her friends in the school environment. LUCY'S COMMENTS - I enjoy Gym because I do different things every week. I like doing the wall bars and the ropes. I like doing backward rolls & cartwheels. I have lots of fun all the time at Gymnastics.
